Because I use glycolic acid and salicylic acid products daily, SPF’s are an essential part of my life. I love this product so much that I really wish I’d come up with it! It has everything I need in life, this is not just your regular SPF, it not only smells absolutely amazing (I can’t really explain the smell other than saying it smells like holidays) but even better than that, it sparkles! I first wore this to the beach a few weeks ago and I loved it! I smelled lush, the sand didn’t stick to me and of course, I was sparkly. Today the sun is out but it’s not very bright so on my skin this gives a nice shimmer, but in very bright sun, it’s sparkly and I love it. I wish I could get a picture to show you but it’s not bright enough today. My 2 eldest girls (9 1/2 and 4 1/2) also loved it, they’re pretty good at wearing their SPF but I could imagine that any child, especially a little girl princess who isn’t too keen on having cream put on her would be more than happy to use this, it’s of course not from a sensitive range so you would need to be careful if you use this on delicate skin. I tried to convince Ryan to wear it so that I could have my own Edward Cullen (yes I’m a Twilight fan) but he was having non of it. So if like me you don’t want to look like a wrinkly old prune when you’re older and love a bit of sparkle (did I mention this sparkles?), this is the SPF for you! You can get this from most supermarkets, chemists and online, if you have a Home Bargains near you try in there because it’s only £3.99! It also comes in an SPF 10, 20 & 30. More info HERE
EDIT – I just wanted to add, be careful when using this product when you’re wearing white clothes, it does have a colour to it so if like me you drop a blob on your white trousers, there’s a good possibility it will stain.
I also thought I’d share a picture of this quirky new ring that I bought today, as you can see, it’s actually reversible! It has a Citrine one side and an Opal the other, it’s made from recycled sterling silver. I’ve never seen anything like this before, it’s so much nicer than in the picture. I have a feeling I’m going to have to hide this from Eve (my 9 year old) not only does she have the same shoe size as me, she has the same finger size (I’m 5 ft 2 and she’s apparently going to be about 5ft 10!!) and as Opal is her birth stone I know it’s going to take her fancy!
