Salon Science® Haircare

I was kindly sent some products to try by hair science from their Repair and Radiance range, I already had their ReGlosse Smoothing Serum and so when I was asked to try more from the range, I jumped at the chance.

I currently have blue hair with rainbow underneath, maintaining this colour is extremely difficult so I’m careful about the products I use.

Firstly the shampoo and conditioner, although they left my hair soft and shiny, I didn’t feel they worked well for my colour as I did find it changed a bit quicker than normal, BUT for my 13 year old daughters hair WOW Honestly I’ve never seen her hair look so good, she has long, very thick hair with a caramel dip dye, it had started going a little brassy so I’d bought her a blonde shampoo which did help a little but as soon as she started using this, the difference was instantly noticeable. Firstly her hair just looked so soft and silky but the main thing I found is that it totally revived her colour, it brought back the brightness, removed any brassiness and left it looking so smooth and healthy you’d think it was natural, she started having so many more comments about her hair, the bottle ran out a week ago and already I can see the difference and so I’m just about to order more. Another thing is that she has a sensitive scalp and can easily get dandruff, she’s experienced no irritation with these two.

The ReGlosse Smoothing Serum is lovely and works well for both of our hair, it doesn’t have an over powering scent, it delicately fragrances the hair while leaving it soft and shiny, calming down frizz, lightly seals and split ends and doesn’t leave your hair feeling too weighed down.

I also received the ReCorrect Leave In Treatment and the ReProtectant Thermal Crème, I use these after every wash and also take them to the hairdresser with me, she agrees that they really do help to smooth and soften my very over processed hair. One thing I will say is that they’re quite rich, I have thick hair and loads of it, if you have very fine, thin hair this range may be a bit too rich but they 4 different ranges –

PhytoCellTecTM Swiss Apple: For Anti-Ageing and Restored Volume
With Plant Stem Cell Technology to restore youth to lifeless hair. Strengthens, thickens and protects fine, fragile hair. With volumising extracts to instantly revive natural body.

AnaGainTM Organic Pea Sprout: For Targeting Hair Loss
Denser, thicker, fuller hair in 3 months* (
*Must be used as part of the PROACCELERANTTM regime). Prolongs the lifecycle of hair to reduce hair loss. Stimulates hair growth at the root. Restores vitality for stronger, healthier hair.

GSP-T Swiss Grape: For Repair and Radiance (this is the range I have)
Intense nourishment for over-processed hair with powerful antioxidants for brighter, richer and longer lasting colour. Instantly improves health and texture of hair.

AquaCacteen Organic Cactus: For Scalp Relief
Contains powerful water-binding compounds to instantly hydrate parched hair and a dehydrated scalp. A gentle, ultra-refined elixir with protecting and soothing properties to calm a distressed scalp. Instantly leaves the scalp visibly clear for radiant glossy hair.

I was also sent the Intensive Masque but I haven’t properly tested this yet.

The range is from £11-£19 and right now the shampoo and conditioner is 2 for £15 in boots which is a pretty good saving considering the shampoo is £11 and the conditioner £12.

I genuinely am really impressed with this range, haircare I find can be so underwhelming and so it’s fantastic to find a range that seems to actually do what it claims.
